Making Google Ads work for your business
Although we specialise in providing organic social media, we understand the value and power of paid advertising, which is why we still recommend Google Ads (this is when advertisers pay for advertisements on Google which work on a pay-per-click basis).
If you have a service, product or offer you wish to promote further via search engines but, realise your search terms are too competitive, Google Ads can help generate interest without the need to fight off your competition organically.
However, most buying decisions are still made through website searches which is why in our eyes, using organic social media in conjunction with Google Ads/PPC is the ideal combination.
How much do Google ads cost?
Your Google Ads cost is completely determined by your budget however Google Ads can work with almost any budget!
You’re only charged when users interact with your advert, for example when they click to visit your website or to call your business directly. With Google Ads, there is no minimum spend requirement, and no required contract length – you can stop your ads anytime.
CPC vs PPC – what’s the difference?
CPC (Cost Per Click) or PPC (Pay Per Click) means you only pay for an ad if someone clicks on it!
Other advertising models include:
- Cost Per Impression, where you pay based on how many times your ad was shown (not clicked)
- Cost Per Engagement, where you pay when a user completes a predefined engagement (like watching your video ad)
